VALUATIONS FOR AUCTION
If you have something that you are considering selling by auction, please bring it to one of our Valuation Days. We will provide advice and suggest an auction estimate. There is no charge for this service, and you are not obliged to sell. Alternatively, especially if an item is too large to transport easily, you can email a digital image to email@example.com. If appropriate, we can also arrange for a valuer to visit your home.

Inheritance Tax Assessment (Probate) Valuations
An open market valuation is often needed as part of the procedure for obtaining probate when someone dies. We understand that this needs to be carried out swiftly and with sensitivity and aim to attend the premises of the deceased within forty-eight hours if required. We can, also, arrange for high value items to be removed from the property for safe keeping.
Being properly insured is important and we offer a thorough service which is totally confidential. As well as producing a traditional written valuation, we provide a set of digital images of the principal items at no extra cost.
Open Market (ITA) Valuations 1.5 % (+VAT) on the first £10,000 and 1% (+VAT) thereafter
Insurance Valuations 1% (+VAT)
Fees for large insurance valuations are negotiable.
There is a minimum charge for all written valuations of £230 (+VAT).
